Tikari is a stunning statement braided necklace that uses the traditional Japanese 8 strand Kongo Gumi braid.
The design uses 3 sizes of beautiful Czech Daggers to create a focal section comprising of 3 rows of daggers and a complementary row of Swarovski Crystals to just give that little bit of sparkle to this elegant sleek design.
This is a counted braid and therefore more suited to the intermediate braider, who has some experience of braiding with beads.
Knowledge of how to engage beads in an 8 strand round Kumihimo braid would be advantageous to get the most from this project.
You will need to supply your own Kumihimo equipment i.e. Kumihimo Disk, 8 x Bobbins, Kumihimo weights (or bags of coins weighing 90g and 45g) and Zap Gel Glue.
