Complete Kit - Kumihimo 8 Strand Paua Creole Wave Pendant Necklace
This necklace kit has been designed around these fabulous Paua shell pendants. These shells are naturally found around New Zealand and as Paua is Maori they are probably known better as Abalone. The amazing blend of colours gives it a fabulous warm glow and as each shell has a different colour range, each piece is original. The pendants have a Creole Wave design.
The braid is 8 Strand Kongo Gumi which utilises an attractive method of attachment that takes advantage of the different colours of S-Lon. The braid also spirals in different direction to complete the symmetry of the necklace
The kit will contain the layout pattern and all the necessary beads, S-Lon threads and magnetic clasp, as well as the instructions for completing these reverse spirals in Kumihimo.
You will need to supply your own Kumihimo equipment i.e. Kumihimo Disk, 8 x Bobbins, 90g and 45g Kumihimo weights (or bag of coins weighing 90g and 45g) and Zap Gel Glue. If you need any of these items, please look under Kumihimo equipment, where you will find a selection.
