7th May 2022 - Wire Laramie Necklace and Earring Workshop
Laramie is a variation of an old European straw-plaiting braid that was adapted by Shirley Berlin and Carol Godwin for the round disk. This design has been produced with the approval of Shirley Berlin.
In this workshop you will learn how to make this statement 10 strand Laramie necklace with matching earrings. The class will cover the braiding structure, braiding with and shaping the wire as well as adapting the braid to make the earrings. This is quite a tricky process so be prepared to get in a bit of a tangle !
A selection of colours has been shown below but you can also pick your own, just select the Custom Colour option and let me know your 2 colours in the notes section.
The workshop will be :
Saturday 7 May 2022 at UK (GMT) 4.00pm/ET 11.00am/CT 10.00am/PT 08.00am and will last approximately 2.5hrs
Price includes both kits and the workshop. A Wags Wicone or Conetastic tool is used to make the cones. These can be quite hard to get hold of, so if you don't have either of them I'm more than happy to put some completed cones into the kit, just click on the cone option.
The kits will be posted one month before the workshop.
Instructions : These will be emailed to you the day before the workshop for you to either print or view during the class on a separate device. You will receive the link to the workshop in a separate email at the same time.
Sorry, no refunds are given, as the cost of the workshop also includes the cost of the kit. Please check the time and date of both class sessions carefully before purchase. You can check the time where you live using this calculator.
