This kit is for a 7 Strand 'Fill the Gap' Kumihimo braid that incorporates an exciting selection of beads, chosen around a mix of beautiful lampwork teardrops to make a real statement piece.
The kit will contain the layout pattern and all the necessary beads, S-Lon threads, Cord caps and Clasp, as well as the basic instructions of Kumihimo braiding with 7 strands

Knowledge of how to engage beads in an 7 strand round Kumihimo braid would be advantageous to get the most from this project.
The pattern is for a 18 inch (46 cm) necklace before adding the clasp. The focal section is 4 inches (10 cm). The final length can always be adjusted by adding or removing some of the beads in the side sections.
You will need to supply your own Kumihimo equipment i.e. Kumihimo Disk, 7 x Bobbins, Kumihimo weights (or bags of coins weighing 90g and 45g) and Zap Gel Glue. If you need any of these items, please look under Kumihimo equipment, where you will find a selection.
