These 8 Strand Kumihimo Lariats have been centred around some magnificent Lampwork beads handmade by Christine Wilson. Each beaded braid and tassel has been co-ordinated to match these amazing unique beads - no two will ever be the same.
The kit will contain all the necessary Beads and S-Lon threads as well as the instructions to make a beautiful Kumihimo lariat.

Knowledge of how to engage beads in an 8 strand round Kumihimo braid would be advantageous to get the most from this project.
This tutorial is for an lariat from a 42'' (107cm) long braid. It is perfect for tying in a loose casual knot. The final length can always be adjusted by adding or removing some of the beads.
You will need to supply your own Kumihimo equipment i.e. Kumihimo Disk, 8 x Bobbins, Kumihimo weights (or bags of coins weighing 90g and 45g) and Zap Gel Glue. If you need any of these items, please look under Kumihimo equipment, where you will find a selection.
