Laramie is a variation of an old European straw-plaiting braid, that was adapted by Shirley Berlin and Carol Godwin for the Kumihimo disk.
This kit is for a 10 strand 'Laramie' braid bracelet that includes beads to give added texture and sparkle. It has been design to coordinate with the 10 strand Laramie Jet and Hematite kit.
The kit will contain the layout pattern and all the necessary beads, S-Lon threads and magnetic clasp, as well as full instructions.
This pattern will create a braid with the beaded portion being approximately 7.8’’ (20cm) in length. After fitting of the clasp, the bracelet will fit a wrist approximately 6.5’’ (16.5cm). The length can be adjusted by adding more of the included beads.
You will need to supply your own Kumihimo equipment i.e. Kumihimo Disk, Bobbins, Kumihimo weight (or bag of coins weighing 45g) and Zap Gel Glue. If you need any of these items, please look under Kumihimo equipment, where you will find a selection.
