Laramie is the perfect braid with which to learn Kumihimo. It is a variation of an old European straw-plaiting braid, that was adapted by Shirley Berlin and Carol Godwin for the Kumihimo disk.
This kit is for a 10 strand 'Laramie' braid Bracelet. It has a very distinctive spiral pattern and uses a lovely metallic thread to give it a bit of added sparkle.
Kingfisher, Merlot and Twilight have all been created to complement my 7 Strand Necklace kits of the same name. I also have a selection of other co-ordinating colours but if you would like the kit in a different colour combination, please do not hesitate to contact me.
The kit will contain the layout pattern and all the necessary materials, S-Lon threads, Metallic thread and Clasp, as well as the basic instructions of Kumihimo braiding with 10 strands.
You will need to supply your own Kumihimo equipment i.e. Kumihimo Disk, Kumihimo weight (or bag of coins weighing 45g) and Zap Gel Glue. If you need any of these items, please look under Kumihimo equipment, where you will find a selection.
